The next monthly meeting of the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board of Directors is in-person only (No Zoom), at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. This will be the last meeting of the Airport Board in 2024, and is the final meeting for retiring Board President Rick Stephens.  We thank Rick for his years of public service! The public is invited to attend. Guest speaker Chris Johnston from the Reno NWS will be speaking about this year's winter forecast, along with O&M Supervisor Sarah Person who will be presenting on winter operations at KTRK. A Special Board Meeting of the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board of Directors will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday,  November 13, 2024. The public is invited to attend. You are invited to join us for a Veterans Day, and United States Marine Corps' Birthday celebration mixer, 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Airport Terminal Community Room, 10356 Truckee Airport Rd. TTAD General Manager, Robb Etnyre, USMC Ret, and airport staff, will host fellow veterans to honor the proud services of our men and women in uniform. 

A 75 acre fuels reduction prescribed burn is scheduled on airport owned Waddle Ranch property in Martis Valley.  Cal Fire will be managing the burn (weather conditions permitting), on November 7-8, (and possibly the 9th) 2024. Access to trails will be closed to the public during the burn. Since 1958, the Truckee Tahoe Airport District has been an integral part of the community of Truckee and North Lake Tahoe.  Located at 5,900 feet, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, we are connected by more than a runway!  With a dedicated team and volunteers, we are highly aligned with our mission.
