Snow Day Forecast for 02-03 March
-Fair chance of mixed precipitation combined with above freezing temperature throughout the day on the 2nd. Temperature forecast to fall below freezing on the morning of the 3rd.
-We will monitor runway conditions and issue FICONS as appropriate. Brief snow removal may be required on the 2nd depending on the type of precipitation. That snow removal could be concurrent with or a brief interruption to operations.
-Runways will likely remain open on the 2nd with the possibility of poor conditions if precipitation falls as snow or slush. There is a possibility that a brief closure could be required sometime during the day on the 2nd. There is a slight possibility that on the morning of the 3rd residual rain and melting snow could form into an ice sheet. It is unclear whether an ice sheet on the 3rd would create the conditions for a closure. We consider a closure on the 3rd to be a slight possibility that would likely end by ice melting away by late morning.
Note: This information is a forecast and actual conditions may change. Our forecast should be used to indicate when trouble may be encountered in order to add extra caution to your flight planning. If we indicate a runway closure may be imminent and you wish to get out before the closure then call dispatch. Stay abreast of approved weather forecasting and reporting as well as NOTAMS
Runway Availability: This means one runway, a parallel taxiway, and reasonable access to a ramp. Full runway and taxiway access, services, and access to hangars will happen after a runway has been made available. Sometimes a day or more will be required to provide full access.

Snow Day Forecast for 20 February
-High likelihood of rain/snow today and into the evening. Temperatures are predicted to fall below freezing on the evening of the 19th.
-We will monitor runway conditions and issue FICONS as appropriate.
-Runways are currently open. There is a slight possibility that on the morning of the 20th residual rain and melting snow could form into an ice sheet. It is unclear whether an ice sheet on the 20th would create the conditions for a closure. We consider closure on the 20th a slight possibility that would melt away by late morning if present.

Runway Closure
Closing runways at 0900L with the plan to reopen by 1400L. This is planned to provide minimum service in the afternoon, however there will be 2-3" of snow in hangar rows and some taxiways/taxilanes

Rapidly Changing Conditions
Unexpectedly heavy snowfall this morning began at 0600. Currently 1" accumulated and expecting at least another inch.
Runways are poor but usable with an RCAM of 3 in thick dry snow. We will keep runways open for the first half of the day and continue to update depths on the FICON report. We will possibly close later in the day in order to clear runways and prevent ice formation overnight.

Snow Day Forecast for 15 February
-Temperatures are predicted to fall sharply below freezing on the evening of the 14th.
-We will continue snow removal in the hangar rows on the 15th.
-Runways are currently open. There is a slight possibility that on the 15th even though runways are relatively clear of snow, there may be an ice sheet with other contaminants which could close the runways again per FAA requirements. If there is an ice sheet then temperature and sun will be required to open the runway.
