Originally from Modesto, California, Lauren has over 15 years of experience working in Public Sector Human Resources. Lauren believes firmly that, at their core, people want to succeed, to manage and be managed well, and to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Lauren's ultimate goal as HR Manager/District Clerk is to unlock the channels of communication, bringing big pictures to life in real time contexts, and, through authentic, candid and genuine feedback, to deliver goal-exceeding results. In her current capacity at the Truckee Tahoe Airport District she is responsible for supporting the Board of Directors, the General Manager, all Senior Support Staff, and manage human resources and risk management services. Lauren is Board Director of the Truckee Tahoe Workforce Housing Agency, acting Legislative Director for the Sierra Human Resources Association (SHRA), a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP), Certified Member (CM) with American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Certified District Clerk/Board Secretary through California Special District’s Association (CSDA), and serves on various Human Resources and Administrative Committees with AAAE and ACI-NA.
