Lessons from Antarctica: An Inspirational Journey to the Bottom of the World, with local environmentalist Nichole Dorr and friends Erica Jue and Morgan Goodwin from the Town of Truckee. The presentation was a positive, inspirational look at Antarctica and climate change, as well as an informative session regarding local action to address carbon and greenhouse gas emissions, recycling and solid waste disposal. The FREE event took place on Thursday, September 8th at 6:00pm in the Airport's Main Terminal Building Board Room A.
