INAUGURAL RUN THE RUNWAY!

Saturday's inaugural Run the Runway event was a great success! It was a picture perfect Sierra fall weather day and almost 200 joined in on the fun! Participants had the option of either a 5K or a 3/4 mile run right on the actual 11-29 runway at Truckee Airport, at elevation 5,900 feet, The airport had the runway closed to air traffic during this unique event. Funds raised will help support 3 local non-profits: TEMPO High School Music Programs, Auburn Ski Club Training Center and Trails & Vistas.
