New Executive Box Hangars

At their July 26, 2017 meeting, the KTRK Board of Directors approved building 10 new executive hangars, eight of which will be leased to individuals from the current executive hangar wait list.

At the same meeting the Board awarded a contract to Sierra Nevada Construction in the amount of $1,884,007 for site work. The steel structure portion of the project is currently out for rebid, and the Board will have additional information for review at their August 23 meeting. Total project cost is projected to be ~$7,800,000.

Of the hangars that will be leased, eight pre-leases have been signed. The remaining two will be used by KTRK for short term overnight rentals, with one being heated.

The two new hangars rows (November and Papa) will be located on the west side of the airfield parallel to the Mike hangar row. Anticipated ground breaking will be in May of 2018 with a forecasted completion date of late Fall 2018. We will continue to keep our tenants informed as this project moves forward.
