Katie Greenwood Accepts Corporate Jet Pilot Position

Katie was hired as the airport's "Pilot Outreach Coordinator" just over 2 years ago, with her main mission being to inform pilots and their passengers about our Noise Abatement Procedures and all things KTRK!  Katie also worked diligently with airport staff on ways to reduce community noise and annoyance.

A passionate aviator, Ms Greenwood could easily talk shop with any seasoned pilot and was constantly improving her knowledge base and pursing advanced aviation certificates. She holds private, instrument and commercial certificates, along with multi-engine and jet ratings.

Katie is also heavily involved in the community with nonprofit women and youth in aviation programs like Pathways to Aviation and the Reno High Sierra 99's.

Katie will be greatly missed and we wish her all the best in her new career as a corporate pilot. She'll be based out of Northern California flying a Citation 550, a Sabreliner and a Hawker 800.
