Hangar Door Switch Safety Upgrades

HANGAR DOOR SWITCH SAFETY UPGRADES

Operations & Maintenance staff have identified safety and operational needs that require tenants to be present for the entire operating cycle of a hangar door.  Hangar rows Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo and Kilo are being converted with new momentary switch control upgrades. This means that in order to operate your hangar door you will need to do the following: 1) Set original switch to desired position (STOP, then press UP or Down), 2) Then Hold Green button to operate door.  A typical UP or DOWN cycle takes approximately 1 minute 30 seconds.

You will need to hold the green button continually to open or close the hangar door. As your door operates, should you notice any issues with the door or cables, please contact UNICOM staff immediately. Please ensure that you open the hangar door fully before moving an aircraft in or out.  If you have any questions, please contact us at (530) 587-4119 x100.
