Marine Flight Training Exercises Based Out of Truckee Tahoe Airport

MARINE FLIGHT TRAINING Exercises to be based out of KTRK.

Marines from Southern California will be conducting helicopter high-altitude, mountain, winter, and night training exercises in our region from January 11th -13th.

The 2 Apache helicopters and/or 1 Apache and 1 Huey helicopter will stage out of your Truckee Tahoe Airport.

KTRK's Pilot & Passenger Outreach Coordinator Mark Covey has been in communication with the Marine squadron's pilots. To minimize the noise impact on our community, Mark shared information regarding KTRK's Noise Abatement Procedures and Voluntary Curfew hours (10pm -7am).
