NEW AIRPORT E-BIKES!
Your Truckee Tahoe Airport has purchased two new "Rad Power" E-Bikes. The bikes are available for use at no charge by pilots and flight crew members to enjoy our beautiful bike-trails and local scenery. They are perfect for the 5.2 mile round trip to downtown Truckee to explore and have lunch, all while their aircraft are here on the ramp.
The bikes each have a 750W Direct Drive hub motor, a 48V power system, are peddle assist, can go 25-45 miles per charge (depending on power needs) and have swept handle bars and a low-step frame design for easy and comfortable use. (Photos by: Roger Pynappel)
