Long Lines/Waits for Tahoe Boat Inspections

Your Truckee Tahoe Airport donates community space on its airfield facilities to the TRPA for its mandated invasive species boat inspections. The week prior to the 4th of July holiday saw over half mile long lines and all day waits, with over 70 boats in line on Wednesday morning at 8 am, July 1, 2020. Inspection station staff say that they average 30 minutes per vessel.
