MISSION TO MARS SYLLABUS

NASA wants to send a manned mission to Mars and has been working on it for over 15 years. However, NASA has not yet been successful doing this, so why not send a group of children to do it instead? This summer camp experience would simulate what it would take to go on a trip to Mars, set up a living environment and live there for some time.

Our week long summer aviation/aerospace “Space” camp takes place at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. “Guest Speakers” from the Truckee Civil Air Patrol and others will help us achieve the mission.

Two camps with a limit of 12 children each, ages 10-14 are scheduled. Camps run daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm:

Space Camp 1) Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, 2015 or Space Camp 2) Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, 2015
