TTAD has contracted for drainage, base and pavement work to be completed this summer on BOTH sides of the Golf row and along the Hotel row of hangars. This is a major construction project that will take up to 2 months. We need to schedule the work during the warmer dry months of summer.
ALL GOLF and HOTEL ROW HANGAR TENANTS WILL BE IMPACTED
Please take note of the following:
• Construction is scheduled to start on Monday, July 20, 2015
• Estimated completion date is Friday, September 11, 2015
Hangar rents and utility fees will be waived for Golf and Hotel row tenants during the construction period. (*Except for Golf row tenants with smaller aircrafts, assigned an alternate T-Hangar). Tenants that have paid an annual 1 time hangar rent payment will receive appropriate credit towards their Truckee Tahoe Airport account balances.
There will be FREE aircraft ramp parking for displaced aircraft registered in Golf and Hotel rows on the East and/or South ramps during construction.
There will be NO aircraft or vehicle access to the hangars during construction. Foot traffic to the hangar will also be restricted or halted during certain phases of construction.
Planes and vehicles (cars, RV’s, boats etc...) that will be used/needed during the construction period must be removed from the hangars by Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 5:00pm.
Hangars will at times be required to be opened (by Construction & Operations staff) and will be exposed to construction dust. Items left in the hangars will get dusty.
GOLF ROW TENANTS There will be a limited number of smaller T-Hangars issued in a Lottery fashion to aircraft owners who express an interest in an alternate T-Hangar option. Requests for an alternate T-Hangar for temporary storage of TTAD registered aircraft must be received in writing via email to: info@truckeetahoeairport.com by Friday May 15, 2015. The N# and plane type must be included so that we can match the plane to an appropriately sized T-Hangar. We will try and accommodate as many requests as possible. A monthly hangar rent and utility fee would still apply for relocated hangar tenants that exercise the option of an available alternate hangar.
HOTEL ROW TENANTS We regret that there are NO larger executive/box hangar options available for displaced Hotel row tenants at the KTRK Field. Free ramp parking on the East or South ramps is the only KTRK option during the construction period. Reno Tahoe International KRNO has some hangar options available.
