Welcome Kelly Woo, Director Finance & Administration

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District (TTAD) is pleased to welcome Kelly Woo to its executive team!

Kelly, a former controller at Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, has joined TTAD as the Director of Finance and Administration.

Woo is a 25-year Truckee resident with executive-level financial experience at multiple local companies, including Mark Tanner Construction and Lahontan Golf Club & Community Association. She is replacing Sally Lyon, who is retiring from the Airport District after leading the department for the past five years.

Kelly said that the airport’s widespread community involvement has impressed her in her first few weeks on the job. “It is truly incredible to see all the things the airport does not only at the airfield, but also within our local community,” said Woo.

Woo is currently working side-by-side with Lyon, learning all the intricacies of aviation finance before Lyon retires from the District on June 30th. Among the unique aspects of aviation finance, government accounting and aviation fuel sales are perhaps the most complex issues that Woo is mastering before Lyon departs.

When Woo isn’t immersed in aviation finance or leading the District’s administration staff, she enjoys long-distance running and spending time with her husband and two young sons. Kelly is looking forward to making a positive difference at the airport, and in the community it serves.
