Saturday, May 9 - EAA Young Eagles Pancake Breakfast
Join EAA Chapter 1073 on Saturday, May 9 for a morning of flying and community at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. The Young Eagles rally gives local youth a chance to experience introductory flights and explore the new Multiuse Aviation Facility with hands-on simulators and aviation activities. The event runs from 7:30am–12:00pm, with flights beginning at 8:00am.

RFP: 2026 Airfield Marking Project
The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking qualified contractors to complete the remarking of Runway 11-29 and associated airfield markings. The project includes removal of existing markings, application of new paint and reflective materials, and coordination of work phases to maintain safe airport operations throughout construction. MUSE Launch Party / Wednesday, Feb 4
Truckee Tahoe Airport is proud to host the east-county launch of MUSE 2026 on Wednesday, February 4, in partnership with the Nevada County Arts Council and Truckee Cultural District. MUSE is the region’s definitive guide to local arts and culture, spotlighting the artists, creative businesses, and community stories that define life in Nevada County. This year’s theme, “Living Like a Local,” highlights creativity rooted in place—from the foothills to the High Sierra. Guests will be among the first to view and take home a copy of MUSE 2026 while celebrating the vibrant cultural community that connects Truckee, Nevada County, and the airport itself.

RFP: Exterior Hangar Painting – 2026
The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking qualified contractors to provide exterior painting services for Hangars E and F during the 2026 summer season, including surface preparation, coating application, and replacement of door identification signage.
