Discover Rural Lakescapes, the newest Art at the Airport exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Truckee-Tahoe region's lakes and waterways through the work of local artists. Join us for the opening reception on Wednesday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m., with the exhibition on display through mid-October 2026.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking qualified contractors to implement a 150-acre fuel reduction project at Waddle Ranch. The project includes mechanical thinning, slash treatment, and forest management activities designed to reduce wildfire risk, improve forest health, and enhance long-term ecosystem resilience while protecting surrounding communities and natural resources. The Truckee Tahoe Airport annual Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) Meeting brought together airport staff, air traffic control, pilots, tenants, and key stakeholders to discuss runway safety, operational awareness, and areas of focus moving forward. Join EAA Chapter 1073 on Saturday, May 9 for a morning of flying and community at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. The Young Eagles rally gives local youth a chance to experience introductory flights and explore the new Multiuse Aviation Facility with hands-on simulators and aviation activities. The event runs from 7:30am–12:00pm, with flights beginning at 8:00am.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking qualified contractors to complete the remarking of Runway 11-29 and associated airfield markings. The project includes removal of existing markings, application of new paint and reflective materials, and coordination of work phases to maintain safe airport operations throughout construction.
