The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is now accepting proposals for the resurfacing of approximately 20,000 square feet of concrete hangar floors with a durable epoxy and polyurethane coating. Qualified contractors are invited to submit proposals by September 2, 2026.

Whether you're looking to refresh your aviation knowledge or support a fellow pilot returning to the skies, the AOPA Rusty Pilots Seminar is coming to Truckee-Tahoe Airport on Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program covers important updates in aviation, offers FAA WINGS credit, and provides up to three hours of ground instruction toward a flight review. Pre-registration is encouraged, as space is limited.

Please note that FBO services will end on Sunday, August 9, at 11:00 AM for the day. Self-serve 100LL fuel will remain available after FBO operations conclude. Please plan accordingly, and thank you for your understanding. Services to resume Monday morning.

Discover Rural Lakescapes, the newest Art at the Airport exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Truckee-Tahoe region's lakes and waterways through the work of local artists. Join us for the opening reception on Wednesday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m., with the exhibition on display through mid-October 2026.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking qualified contractors to implement a 150-acre fuel reduction project at Waddle Ranch. The project includes mechanical thinning, slash treatment, and forest management activities designed to reduce wildfire risk, improve forest health, and enhance long-term ecosystem resilience while protecting surrounding communities and natural resources.
