Mission To Mars Summer Camps

WOW, another great summer of "Mission To Mars" youth camps at KTRK!

The week long (Mon-Sat) camps are limited to 12 children each, ages 8-13. Three camps were held in 2019 (in June, July and August). Sign ups are done each spring through the Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District.

Thanks go out to the program developer and Camp Director Ken Aronson and his wife Rolann, also to all the amazing volunteers, and the airfield organizations that make this popular youth "Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics" (STEM) education program possible each year.

Also very much appreciated are the efforts of staff from the Civil Air Patrol, MidWest Air Traffic Controllers, EAA Young Eagles, Rainier Heli Services, Truckee Tahoe Soaring Association and the Truckee Tahoe Airport, for their dedication, time and support of this program.
