T Hangar Availability

Of the Truckee Tahoe Airport District's 198 T-Hangars, we currently have 3 vacancies available for aeronautical rental use. T-Hangars have a base rent of $0.36/square foot and range in size from approximately 1,000 sf up to 1,250 sf. Base hangar rents can be reduced by taking advantage of available discount incentives including: Fly Quiet, Home Basing and Annual Payment programs. There is also an additional flat $20/mth electricity charge. As a safety precaution, District policy requires that a hangar door width be a minimum of 4' wider than the aircraft's wing span. Historically the Truckee Tahoe Airport District had a waiting list for T-Hangars. In our post recession world, this is no longer the case for T-Hangars. However, with that said, there are now waiting lists for Executive Hangars, End Pocket Units and Non Aeronautical T-Hangar rentals. A $200 refundable Deposit and $50 nonrefundable accounting fee is required to get on any one of the airport's hangar wait lists.
