KTRK Supports Regional Firefighting

Your Truckee Tahoe Airport District always makes airport facilities available for aeronautical operations fighting regional wildfires and other emergencies. Local residents should expect to see and hear potentially round-the-clock helicopter operations out of Truckee Tahoe Airport fighting the Caldor Fire near South Lake Tahoe. We appreciate the community’s understanding.
The airport is also providing staging areas for Tahoe Basin based agencies to park vehicles during evacuation orders.
Please be aware that public access is not permitted on the ramp.
