Air Show & Family Festival 2022

Here are some great pictures of the Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival by photographers Tim O’Brien and Mark E. Loper. The free July 23, 2022 airport event attracted an estimated ~10,000+ people from all around our region.

Thanks go out again to the aircraft owners, aerial performers, volunteers, youth groups, first responders, airport board members and staff, along with the local non-profits that all together, made the Air Show & Family Festival possible. It is considered one of the best and largest community events of the year! The return of the 2022 Air Show was extra special, allowing people to again come together after two years of Covid lockdowns.

The local non-profits that benefit from the air show and do most of the heavy lifting putting the event on, include: the Truckee Optimist Club, Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), KidZone Museum, Truckee Lion’s Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations. A BIG thank you to everyone in our community that attended!
