Beginning January 1, 2023, scheduling for the airport's flight simulator will switch to a new account with Flight Schedule Pro managed by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District. This Precision Flight Controls GTX G1000 Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) allows pilots to practice, and log required flight currencies, such as Instrument Flight Rating (IFR) currency. The AATD features a full Garmin G1000 avionics suite. Pilots and student pilots that live within the Truckee Tahoe Airport District boundaries can use the simulator for free. Flight simulator users must be authorized to use the equipment.
