RECYCLE YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE!
Local Truckee residents have two options to Recycle their Christmas tree after the holidays with Curbside collection, or at a Drop-off location. Remove all lights and decorations before recycling! Recycled trees are used for ground cover erosion control and in organic mulch.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION
Available on your trash day the week of January 8-12
Cut your tree into 3-feet segments and place it on the street next to your trash can by 6 AM on the morning of your trash day.

DROP-OFF LOCATIONS
Drop-off dumpsters are available now through January 14 at: - Car Rental Parking Lot at Truckee Tahoe Airport (pictured)
- Truckee High School Soccer Fields
- Legacy Trail Parking Lot – Glenshire Drive
- Tahoe Donner Northwoods Clubhouse
