Art at the Airport: Treescapes Exhibition Opens at Truckee Tahoe Airport

Apr 22, 2025

April 2025 – July 2025

The Truckee Tahoe Airport’s spring art exhibition, Treescapes, features works by Truckee Cultural District artist Eric Bevel and others, exploring the form, beauty, and symbolism of trees. From close-up studies of bark and limbs to sweeping forest scenes, the exhibit highlights nature’s enduring role in artistic expression.

On view daily through mid-July, Treescapes is free and open to the public in the airport terminal. Visitors are encouraged to stop in, view the work, and enjoy a meal at the onsite Red Truck Café.

An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, April 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering a chance to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments.

Art at the Airport hosts quarterly exhibitions and welcomes submissions year-round. Upcoming installations include Plein Air in July and a youth-focused STEAM show in October. Truckee-based artists can email Piper Johnson or Kellie Cutler to learn more.
