Rural Lakescapes Opens at Art at the Airport

The Truckee Tahoe Airport is proud to present Rural Lakescapes, the newest installment of its Art at the Airport exhibition series. Featuring works by local artists inspired by the lakes, rivers and alpine waterways of the Truckee-Tahoe region, the exhibition showcases a wide range of artistic interpretations—from tranquil morning reflections to the vibrant energy of summer shorelines.
The public is invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, July 29, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the Truckee Tahoe Airport, 10356 Truckee Airport Road. The exhibition will remain on display through mid-October 2026.
Art at the Airport is curated in partnership with the Truckee Cultural District, Piper J Gallery and the Truckee Tahoe Arts Alliance for the Truckee Tahoe Airport District. The program features four rotating exhibitions each year, highlighting artists who live or work in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe region.
