Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival Messaging for COVID-19 Pandemic. The 2020 Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival scheduled for Saturday, July 11 is being postponed. The Air Show Committee is considering a mid-September 2020 date, and a decision will be made no later than the end of June. Click post heading for more details.

The next Truckee Tahoe Airport District virtual board meeting will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 4:30pm.  The public is invited to watch the meeting online and public comment is encouraged.  Click the post heading above for additional information.

If you happen to see heavy equipment west of parallel-taxiway Golf and north of Runway 11-29 during the next few weeks, know that the Airport District (as part of its long-term Lands Management Plan) is clearing scrub for both wildfire prevention and wildlife hazard management. The public use Community Rooms in the airport's terminal building are temporarily closed to all users. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is communicating with our public health agencies handling the COVID-19 response.  When groups of people are again permitted to gather, the airport district will make the rooms again available per the reservations schedule.
