Many help us access backcountry areas for recreation, fire safety management, or planned logging. Congratulations go out to Lt. Col. Walk into the Truckee Tahoe Airport’s main terminal building and you’ll immediately notice the captivating, eclectic and inspiring artwork hanging on its walls.  “Art At The Airport”, is a program developed by artist and Truckee resident Carole Sesko to showcase amazing local artistic talent. The Spring-Summer Art Show (April 20 - July 19, 2021) includes works by local artists Troy Corliss, Hope Sabrina Huber, Eva S. Nichols and Carole Sesko. The Airport District Board of Directors adopted Policy Instruction #512 Hangar Door Momentary Safety Switch Operations. The policy addresses the operation and safety requirements for the proper opening and closing of hangar doors owned by the Airport District.
