The Truckee Tahoe Airport District has published a Request For Proposals for a Classification and Compensation Study. Press Release 3/30/2024 9:45 pm Truckee, CA:  Aircraft accident:  A single engine TBM aircraft N960LP crashed near Glenshire Dr, Truckee, CA while attempting to land at Truckee Tahoe Airport at 6:38 pm local on Saturday, March 30, 2024.There are two known fatalities. It is not known yet how many people were onboard. Truckee Police, Truckee Fire, Nevada County Sheriff, Nevada Coroner and Truckee Tahoe Airport staff were on scene. The NTSB and FAA will be investigating the accident tomorrow. The Truckee Tahoe Airport will update as facts become known. Click post heading for a picture of a similar model of aircraft.
