- The next regular monthly meeting of the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board of Directors is in-person only (No Zoom), at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. The public is invited to attend. 
- The Board will also hold a special meeting to discuss Policy Instruction 311 Community Sponsorship, Partnerships and Aviation Incentives from 11:00am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The airport Ops & Maintenance department is selling SOLD a 1995 Lincoln Ranger 9 welder generator (code # 9975, Serial # U1950114260).  The Onan 18 hp gasoline engine has 407.7 hours on it and has a 9000W max generator output.  It comes with 50' welding leads. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District (District) is looking to establish a 3-year contract with a contractor or a company for on-call fuels reduction on airport properties. The required method of fuels reduction shall be mechanical mastication and hand work. The District has multiple properties within the Truckee and Tahoe area that may need this work provided. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District launched a pilot Hangar Revitalization program in 2023 upfitting five hangars. The revitalization includes resurfaced concrete flooring, upgraded energy efficient LED lighting, a hanging snow shovel, Keep Clear striping, a Hazmat/Flammables Locker, an oily rag container, and spill mats.
