    AOPA Rusty Pilots

    Come and participate in a Rusty Pilots program with fellow lapsed pilots. We will help you understand what’s changed in aviation since you last took the controls and brush up on your aviation knowledge.  Join us from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Airport Terminal Bldg Community Room. The cost is Free for AOPA members, or $89 to sign up for AOPA membership and the Class. Note: KTRK will cover AOPA membership/class registration fees for pilots enrolled in KTRK's FLY SAFE program who are not currently AOPA members.

    FLY SAFE Speaker Event

    Join us for another great FLY SAFE Pilot Proficiency program event at 5:30 - 7 pm, Friday, April 19, 2024 in the terminal building community room. Philip Mandel, CFI, FAA Safety Team Lead Representative and AOPA Instructor will review some common ways pilots get themselves in trouble, and systematically discuss what we can do to mitigate those risks. This event will will be in a hybrid format, both in-person and digitally via Zoom.     nZero Sustainability Report 2023

    RFP - Airfield Re-Marking

    The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is planning to complete by purchase order the re-marking of airfield markings on the surface of Taxiway G, Taxiway R, Hangar Rows A-H, and parking circles on the aircraft parking aprons at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. This marking shall meet the requirements set forth on the attached plans and specifications.     Aircraft Accident

    Press Release 3/30/2024 9:45 pm Truckee, CA:  Aircraft accident:  A single engine TBM aircraft N960LP crashed near Glenshire Dr, Truckee, CA while attempting to land at Truckee Tahoe Airport at 6:38 pm local on Saturday, March 30, 2024.There are two known fatalities. It is not known yet how many people were onboard. Truckee Police, Truckee Fire, Nevada County Sheriff, Nevada Coroner and Truckee Tahoe Airport staff were on scene.
