Your Truckee Tahoe Airport District launched a new ParkMobile app-based parking program with different zones and rates for overnight and monthly vehicle parking at KTRK.  The program began Monday, August 21, 2023.  Day use parking remains free. Click post heading for more info.

Truckee Tahoe Airport District (TTAD), one of only nine "Special Airport Districts" in California, received the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence by the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF) in recognition of its outstanding efforts to promote transparency and good governance. Air Traffic Control Tower seasonal hours of operation change Fall / Winter 07:00-18:00 local (shortened hours) begins Sunday, October 1, 2023.  After hours Tower Frequency 120.575 reverts to CTAF.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District has a issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) for interested parties to manage it's "Art at the Airport" program. Sealed submittals are due by 5:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2023. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board of Directors will hold their next board meetings on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
- The 2024 Budget Workshop will be from 1:00 - 3:00 pm
- The Regular Monthly Board meeting starts at 4:30 pm

The TTAD Board of Directors approved the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan, Flight Path for Alignment at their August board meeting.  The plan is a culmination of work by the Board of Directors, airport staff, the team of Agnew::Beck Consulting, and valuable input from community members and stakeholders.
