    July 4th D-Day Squadron Honor Flyover

    Truckee-Tahoe 4th of July Honor Flyover in celebration of our Nation's Independence and Front-line COVID workers!  Local Truckee resident and Army veteran Jessie: " We were kayaking at Donner Lake and I looked up and saw multiple WWII era C-47's banking over the lake and it brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart with pride! Thank you Truckee Tahoe Airport for putting on this 4th of July event".  Thanks also go out to the Truckee Tahoe Air Show team and the D-Day Squadron, its pilots and support crew!

    Airport Road Sidewalk Project Notice Inviting Bids.

    A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 to review the Project's existing conditions at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. All bidders should meet outside of the Administration Building in order to maintain social distancing.

    Heliport Construction & Access Restrictions

    Construction has begun on the heliport project at Care Flight operations on the west side of the airfield.  Meyers Earthwork is the contractor on the $382,500 FAA Airport Improvement Project. Vehicle traffic to and from hangar rows Lima, Mike, November and Papa will be diverted to the south side of the warehouse building in front of the Makerspace facility.     Turnover at the Top!

The Airport District Board of Directors and staff would like to thank retiring MidWest ATC Air Traffic Manager Karin Hardiman, for her amazing time at the helm of the TRK tower.
