The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is interested in securing the services of a qualified professional consulting firm and/or team of consultants to complete a comprehensive 5-year update to the 2015 safety gap analysis for the Truckee Tahoe Airport. Click post heading for more info.

The Truckee Tahoe Airport District (TTAD) Board of Directors is seeking a program managing consultant to manage the administration of its Agency Partnership (AP) Program and make recommendations to the Board for applicant approval. Click post heading for more info.

The airport District installed momentary switches to operate the hangar bi-fold doors in 2018. Many hangar tenants are aware of the ongoing efforts to gain usage compliance. The Tahoe Truckee Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is based at KTRK and recently took delivery of a brand-new 2020 Cessna T206H with all the latest radio gear and G-1000 NXi avionics. The aircraft is configured to seat four, with a large cargo double door on the co-pilot side of the plane. Click post heading for more info and pictures.

Walk into the Truckee Tahoe Airport’s main terminal building and you’ll immediately notice the captivating, eclectic and inspiring artwork hanging on its walls.  “Art At The Airport”, is a program developed by Truckee resident and artist Carole Sesko to showcase amazing local artistic talent. The Spring 2021 Art Show includes works by local artists Christine Brown, Ted Coakley III, Kaley Santille and Carole Sesko. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District (TTAD) is soliciting proposals for one Non-Exclusive Rental Car Lease and Concession Agreement for the purpose of providing for the operation of a first-class, non-exclusive rental car concession in the Warehouse Office Building (WOB) at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. The Concession shall provide the traveling public and Airport users passenger-type rental vehicles.  Click post heading for more info.

TTAD has implemented a new service policy with regards to hangar tenants requesting access into their hangars.  A service charge of $10 shall be applied to the tenant of record for unlocking their hangar door when they have temporarily lost or forgotten their keys.  Access to a hangar will ONLY be given to the tenant of record.  Realtor style key lock boxes are available for purchase at Dispatch. Truckee Tahoe Airport District is seeking bids from qualified electrical contractors to replace wiring in Hangar Row Charlie.  Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
