Multi-Agency Search & Rescue day-time exercises will be held out of your Truckee Tahoe Airport, and around the Soda Springs and Truckee Tahoe Area the week of February 7th through the 11th.  Local residents should expect to see intermittent day-time flight operations overhead of a C-130 and H47 helicopter along with skydiving activity.  Click post heading for more info and pics.

The Tahoe Truckee Civil Air Patrol celebrated the National CAP's 80th anniversary with a multi agency search and rescue exercise. The event simulated an airplane crash in a mountainous area near Stampede Reservoir, approximately 10 miles north of the Truckee Tahoe Airport. Click post heading for more info and pics.
