Walk into the Truckee Tahoe Airport’s main terminal building and you’ll immediately notice the captivating, eclectic and inspiring artwork hanging on its walls.  “Art At The Airport”, is a program developed by artist and Truckee resident Carole Sesko to showcase amazing local artistic talent. The Fall-Winter Art Show (Oct 19, 2021 - January 18, 2022) includes works by local artists Jude Bischoff, Molly Moore, and Wendy Trabert. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional consulting services to update the Truckee Tahoe Airport "Master Plan Project". The TTAD Board of Directors contracted with environmental consultant
First Environment based out of Sacramento to conduct a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Analysis to estimate the carbon footprint of the annual Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival.  The study compliments the District's GHG awareness and reduction campaign. The Red Truck Cafe's crew is going on vacation!  The Red Truck Cafe located in the Truckee Tahoe Airport terminal building will be CLOSED for 9 days from this Saturday, September 25 through Sunday, October 3, 2021. The Raley’s Deli across the street is an option for meals for staff and customers.  Raley’s store hours are 6am-11pm. The Truckee Chamber of Commerce held its 68th Annual Awards event in the Airport District hosted N-01 hangar on Friday September 24th, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  The organization recognized excellence in our community with awards in six categories and provided live music, drinks and appetizers in an outside environment.
