Multi-Agency Search & Rescue day-time exercises will be held out of your Truckee Tahoe Airport, and around the Soda Springs and Truckee Tahoe Area the week of February 7th through the 11th.  Local residents should expect to see intermittent day-time flight operations overhead of a C-130 and H47 helicopter along with skydiving activity.  Click post heading for more info and pics.

Seen on the ramp at KTRK, a Coast Guard C-27J Spartan. This beauty stopped by for some unscheduled maintenance work on the #1 engine and of course KTRK staff made her stay as comfortable as possible. Thankfully the weather has been cooperating.  Click post heading for pics and more.
